這類 Generative Music 其實並不新,在2002年當我還是碩士生的時候,就有很多人以這類主題做創作.

我以前也有玩過這類的實驗, 互動類的 Generative Music 的製作相當’解構’,所以有部分的這類作品, 產生的會是難聽聲音, 可能是顧及到互動的可能性, 而拆解聲音到太過於基本, 導致互動性極佳,卻產生很難廳的音樂.

Brian Eno 這號環境音樂大師.他當然並不是把旋律/節奏完整想好,而是要規劃一個機制還有規則, 像是控制調性, 或是節拍, 再配合是覺得互動來呈現, 所以聲音雖然每次都不一樣,卻也不難聽. 以下是他的apps:

我遇過他們,  在 Bedford Ave,

一個離我家不超過1 block的地鐵站, 我在這裡等了六年的車, 曾在 Williamsburg 住到覺得那裡的地磚, 被我每天踩, 是不是都磨掉了好幾公厘?

在 Bedford 地鐵站, 看過無數的團, 有國樂南胡獨奏, 有吉他歡樂雙人組, 還有印地安的大地之音,
是不是講好的階段性輪流, 每隔幾個月就會換一組人馬, 他們可能也每隔一段時間就會看到我,
或許我消失了半年, 他們會不會也在想, 那個精神渙散的亞洲人怎麼不見了?

這些時光都過去了, 回台後, 我自覺不太想念紐約, 因為這些點滴都儲在我的心裡了, 那天朋友放上這片mv, 心中積了的那些, 翻滾了, 揪了一下.

今晚與友十多人等 (Eic,Lda,BigH,Pa,Go,MenL,Gy,Ste,GiP,Nic,Sh,Mara,Eli) 去 Terminal 5 看年邁的 Fat Boy Slim 操盤 DJ, 懷年老歌, 一樣讓大家揮灑熱舞.話說回來好像很多 DJ 的音樂量都不多（另一例子 Daft Punk, Underworld)好像出幾張就撈翻了,畢竟以人數來看, 跳舞趴絕對比演唱會趴還要多人,可能是因為這樣吧?

誰說電音是短暫的流行, 不管電不電, 在流行文化上, 只要紅過, 一定留下痕跡.
