911之後, 位於雙子星下面的 Path Station也沒了, 隨之重建的建築師則是我很喜愛的大師之一 Santiago Calatrava.

第一次友人S拿他的畫作給我看得時候, 我就對她細膩的筆觸, 以及獨特的構圖風格留下很深的印象, 當她跟我說她想要在插畫這個領域試試看的時候, 我跟她說這需要努力, 但以她的天分而言,值得嘗試. 從那天以後, 我就一直在等待她的成果, 是不是累積了很久, 終於讓我等到了. 希望從這個聯展, 能讓她抓到一個契機繼續創作下去！

因為我更期待他的個展啦～

由台灣創意設計中心領軍的26家精選設計團隊，連續第2年向世界4大設計展覽之一：Maison&Objet巴黎國際家飾展叩關成功，甫於9月5日到9日期間，以「台灣設計」的名義，在大會最精華的now! design à vivre 館中亮麗展出。

今年台灣的主題展館–「Taiwan Design in Maison」，融合了東方禪思及西方極簡風格，呈現了台灣設計多元並蓄的樣貌，集合了台灣設計及工藝菁英、行政院文化建設委員會、國立故宮博物院、國立台灣工藝研究所等單位，以獨特的創意和精煉的美感，於生活及飲食文化中精煉出設計巧思，並利用台灣特色文物為創作素材，創作出琉璃藝術、陶瓷、雕塑、公仔、燈具、擺飾、家具等產品。

在5天的展覽中，估計為展出廠商帶來上億元的商機，吸引國際通路如法國國立博物館聯合會(La Reunion des Musée Nationaux)等前來洽商，交易十分熱絡，甚至連展場裡用來作裝飾的天燈，都有人提出達數百個的訂單量。

在媒體效益方面，還引起包括當地電視台及WALLPAPER、ELLE Decoration、Vogue等國際各大媒體爭相報導，甚至連標緻汽車，都還提出邀請，希望這批具有東方特色的台灣設計精品，能帶到其位於柏林的展示中心進行展出；身為國際重量級展項之一的法蘭克福展，也向台灣創意設計中心提出展覽邀請。

會場最令人興奮的事件，是由周育潤設計、陳高明與蘇素任編織的「BAMBOOL」竹椅，在展出的一萬多件展品中，獲得法國媒體記者選為二十三件「最令人心動的作品」之一。

台灣以強大的設計魅力，漂亮地在法國打響名號，讓對美學時尚十分挑剔的巴黎人，也甘願迷醉在其中。

昨天剛從歐洲回紐約
從Amsterdam, Berlin, Warsaw, Brno, Wien一路的拜訪設計公司及朋友
待了將近一個月.
因為去年幫Amsterdam的Lava design 做了個Project,
Hons說到荷蘭一定要到他工作室一趟
也因為一個在柏林的大陸朋友今年是華沙海報雙年展的評審
問我要不要一起去
在加上今年捷克布爾諾雙年展有台灣設計會外展〔和華沙展距兩週〕

一路從他在柏林的工作室出發到華沙
也沾朋友的光認識不少平常只在設計書看過作品的設計師
在捷克布爾諾雙年展上看到自己的作品被Pentagram
紐約辦公室的合夥人Abbott Miller 所策畫的Brno Echo展選出
還跟Stefan Sagmeister最新作品放在一起〔附圖〕
